We are so caught up with life that we rarely stop & look around us, appreciating the people around us, appreciating the things we have.
When was the last time we praise the significant someone?
When was the last time we give amourish salutations?
When was the last time we truly feel the presence of a person and appreciate the presence?
Why do humans only say the good things of the person only when he or she is gone?
Why do humans confidently express far-fetched assurances on which expectations are to be based, without even thinking two hoots about the consequences first?
Why do humans take love too lightly?
How do humans define a true commitment?
Do they even try to stop & ponder all of these possibilities before even taking a step further in their lives?
Have they ever thought that once they fail to fulfill a promise, they totally discreetly condemn/betray themselves on such a thing called trust?
How do humans change within such a shockingly short period of time?
You're ruthless. You truly are. One year, and now you're saying this.
Lies. Lies, lies, words, words & more lies!! WHY? I was left unknown despite those dubious statements which I count as nothing more than l-a-m-e excuses. No more of that spark? Not getting enough attention? Please. There's more to this, isn't there!?
You are nothing, but a mere disappointment.
Give me the old enthusiasms back,
Give me the ardent longings that I lack,
The glorious dreams that fooled me in my youth,
The sweet mirage that lured me on its track,
And take away the bitter, barren truth.
There is seductive shimmer on the horizon of life.
Within it lies the promise of love, the joy of fulfilment and the tranquility of peace.
Approach it with great care, for it is as fragile as a mirage.
Love shall be a subject of the past for now and will simultaneously be in the near future. I need the time to scout the true, fresh definition of trust & faith- the two elements of which sabotaged my naivety cruelly all this while.
Why are we in solitary, despite the company.
